8-11 month daily feeding schedule

Hi all,

Am feeling nosy about your 8 to 11 month DC's daily feeding schedule, including bottles, meals, snacks and drinks. Would anyone mind sharing roughly what a day looks like on that front? What your DC has and roughly when?

What I'm particularly interested in is the ratio of bottles to food. My DD is younger (5 months adjusted) and has only recently started weaning, so bottles are still the primary source of nutrition, but I'm just thinking ahead a bit and trying to imagine her being fully off bottles within six months. I know it sounds dumb but I'm sort of struggling to picture how the transition goes. Yes she's my first...

Thanks in advance! xx

My DD is 13 months but had the same routine since 8.5 months when she dropped from 4 to 3 bottles:-

7: 6oz bottle
8: breakfast
11: snack (if she wakes up from her nap early)
11:30/12: lunch
1:30: 6oz bottle
3:30: snack (again if she wakes up from her nap early)
4:30/5: dinner
7: 6oz bottle

She has water with all meals and it’s offered during the day too.

Before she dropped a bottle I was offering milk at 7, 11, 3 and 7 and food at 8, 12 and 5. She went to 3 meals at 7.5/8 months when she dropped her 3rd nap. (But I did wean at 5 months due to reflux)

Hope that helps.

If LO was premature, weaning may be different than a fill term baby. Have you tried asking in the Premature section? Lots of MNers with experience in there Thanks
