Ugh help.

My DS turned 1 last week and he is usually such a great and easy child but he has turned into a monster. Whines and cries at EVERYTHING ALL DAY!

Why is this happening? He's had the miserys before but this is next level and I can't cope.

Thanks

DD goes through periods of this, usually down to teething. Don't worry, it will pass!

My DD was like this as she turned 1 (now 13 months), a few days later she cut her first 2 teeth. She calmed down after a couple of weeks.

Teething. Can he walk yet? I found with mine when they would walk they were much happier.

Our DS is 1 in just over a week and god he’s whiney, over everything. The dog can literally just touch him with his fur and he’ll start whining of crying. Food takes too long to warm in micro/toaster = crying. Put him on the floor = crying. Pick him up = only happy at the light switch flicking it on and off. On the sofa = crying. On his chair = crying.

Arghhhhhhh.
No advice but you’re not on your own.
He’s going through a ‘leap’ though so every other leap he’s been whiney too. It will pass. He’s started taking one step in between close objects now too so I think it’s frustration from
Now actually being able to walk yet.

@Fitforforty he is walking in spurts but very wobbly and reverts to crawling most of the time!

@FTEngineerM its awful isn't it, you can't do anything right it feels like! He has such a runny nose, so I thought it was a cold at first, then I weaned him onto soya milk (cmpa) and thought it could be that change. He then started being terrible with naps and just so so clingy and whiney! Last 2 nights he's cried when I put him in the bath which is usually his favourite thing! He is dribbling a lot and chewing so I'm guessing it could be something to do with his first molars coming through? He has his 4 front top teeth and 2/3 front bottom teeth. Just feel exhausted by it!
