Hi all

Does anyone have a snooze shade for their pram? My little one is very good at sleeping at home but is not finding out and about easy!

Does it get hot under it? I would just like to know peoples thoughts who have it.

Thanks

We've had one for a few years - worked like a dream with DD on holidays when she was very easily distracted and fighting going for a nap. Ours doesn't fit exactly on the buggy so air gets in through the gaps and then it has a zip in the front too so I normally open that a bit to let the breeze in.

It's amazing x can't recommend enough x designed to stay cool as it's breathable x

I have one and dont rate it. It didnt stay cool underneath really and didnt fit pparticularly well to our buggy.

I live in the UAE and I had one. It’s great. Obviously it’s very hot here so the breathability was important - I couldn’t just hang a muslin over the pram or anything

You need one that filters UV if you don't want it to get hot like a greenhouse.

We've been using ours in the hot weather recently and found that it's been great for taking dd for an early evening walk. We've been stretching it from the canopy cover on the pram and then over the pram handle so that there's a good gap for airflow to keep her cool as it was quite stuffy in the pram if it was closed all the way round.

We chose not to use one. It’s difficult to know how hot it is under there and it’s bound to restrict air circulation. Also if your baby gets into difficulties or overheats you can’t see their face or check their temperature easily. We used a parasol plus sunscreen instead and laid a muslin over exposed legs.

We had one for our DS and it definitely helped him sleep when we were out, especially once he was 6months plus and super nosey!! Always felt it was breathable but I would still make sure he wasn’t in direct sunlight if napping/stopping.

It's amazing and it filters UV. I've always found it quite cool in there when i check
