Hi!

I'm determined to start using cloth nappies at night but lo is a very heavy wetter. I've seen the Minki Huggle and Ella's House Bumhugger recommended as a good night nappy. Does anyone have a small one of each of these nappies that I could buy to try? On a bit of a tight budget so don't want to buy new until I know which is better for us.

Thanks everyone, mumsnet is great!

My mother whole hartedly recommends useing the same nappy you use in the day but lining it with a muslin square folded into a kind of pad to go down the middle of the nappy.

Apparently, when she used this method I never leaked!

(my personal experience won't start for a few weeks so I can only pass on what she has told me!)

good luck with your plight! have you tried usednappies.co.uk or bumfluff has a classified section too - failing that snugglebumnappies sells them new and i will in a few weeks if you can hold on. Nobody can hold on for fluff though!

I'll check what size mine are, I've just decided to sell my cloth nappies now dd is properly potty trained and I've got a dusky pink minki huggle, an ellas house bumhugger and a blue & rainbow microfibre wee notions that I used a night-time nappies. She was in Motherease most of the time but had to boost them so much for night she looked uncomfortable, all of these are more absorbant that the motherease, I used hemp and microfibre boosters with them too. They're medium or small, and all in good condition, I'm at work at the mo so can't check them for size now, but will have a look later this afternoon and get back to you.

Just had another root around and I do have a size small minki huggle, I thought there was one somewhere! Its dark dusky pink towelling with cream fleece liner and fold in pocket booster, in great condition. I'd like £5 for it to include postage. I don't know if you're interested but I've also got some wraps for sale, motherease airflow size medium paw print, there are 4 of them, I'm after £3each or £10 for the lot.
