Narrow tandem double buggy

Hello
I’m looking for a narrow double buggy that I can leave (preferably open) in a narrow common hallway. It would be useful if it folds up easily too so we can fold it up in the evening to allow people to get past more easily. It is for a newborn and 2 year old so needs one lie flat seat. We are looking at the Joie evalite double - does anyone have experience of this or have any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Nipper 360 is a side by side but narrow (fits through a standard doorway). I had both the nipper and the phil & teds navigator which is an inline double. The nipper was ancient but was still SO much easier and better to use, fold, push… I got rid of the phil & teds.

Mountain buggy duet is similar to the nipper I believe. Both are widely available second hand .

Hauck duett

Excellent. I currently use it and can be changed into a single pushchair too. Currently in use for a 4 month old and a 3 year old. Superb

Baby Jogger City Select! Folds easily and compact. You can have a toddler seat and a bassinet.

Yes the baby jogger city is great. Fits through normal doorways, folds down easily, is v light and is very easily manoeuvred.

We had a safety 1st one for our 2nd and 3rd. Was extremely hard to maneuver as the boy got heavy very fast and I was so glad when we could swap to a single stroller. Tandems are not my favourite tbh.
We had a ZeTa Voom side by side for our twins which was narrow enough to fit through most doorways, very compact when folded and maneuverable even when they got big and heavy.

I had a graco side by side umbrella buggy because I had a communal hallway, it could fit folded in the cleaning cupboard (I was the caretaker and had a courtesy flat)

And if you get the select lux you can get a toddler bench which looks brilliant. Wish I realised this before I bought my city select, but still happy with my choice. :)
