What happened to baby boxes?

When I had my ds, we got a baby box from baby box university. Alas we got rid of it pretty fast once outgrown. Now I need to find another as I loved it, and I'm struggling. Has anyone found one recently anywhere? The baby box university website for the uk doesnt seem to load?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Are you in Scotland?
Think they do them there as standard

I had one with my first send ttued the saje as you. I guess baby box uni don't do them now. I bought one online for my now newborn, for about 30quid. Maybe John Lewis, I think.

Thanks for the links! The classes in the second are only open to US or Canada sadly. I shall definitely keep the first link saved though thanks!

I asked my midwife when pregnant and was told ‘women in affluent areas don’t usually ask for them’ and that was that! It was the height of lockdown and I couldn’t be bothered chasing further but I was told the children’s centre should be able to get one in if I wanted one. It’s worth asking your local one

Oh that's so sad!

Great tip about asking at the children's centre - although ours still has not opened and is rumoured to be closing, although they're not giving out any information. I will speak to my midwife.

I guess the alternative is moses baskets? But they're all so frilly and fussy, and a fair bit heavier I imagine?
