Vitamins for babies

Hello,

DS is approaching his first birthday and will be coming off of formula soon. I was wondering you can recommend a good brand of vitamins for him? Is it best to go with a multivitamin or just Vitamin D?

He has a good, varied diet covering all food groups but if supplementary vitamins are required at this stage then I want to provide these.

Any advice/recommendations gratefully received!

They recommend vitamins (A,C & D) for all babies and under 5s, babies who are on 500mls+ of formula a day don't need supplementary vitamins. I tend to use Abidec.

NHS guidelines

Thanks @bloodywhitecat funny how HV and NHS recommendations can be contradictory.

DD was born premature and is prescribed Abidec. Since it was prescribed by her consultant I assume it must be good stuff.

Thanks @CoalCraft Abidec sounds like the one for us 👍🏼
