Constipation on Formulas

My lo has been having really bad constipation on C&G, we have been recommended Kendamil by my sister in law.

Apparently, no Palm Oil really helps but I was wondering if anyone on here has found success with switching to it? x

Just bumping for you really. I've never used formula, but I do recall posters on other threads saying that they found those without palm oil much better for improving constipation. Better for the environment too !

My cousin switched her boy to Kendamil and it worked wonders for him whereas it didn’t work for my DD but every baby is different!

Hi OP. Not Kendamil specific, but the ready made formulas have a small laxative effect

I'd like to try Kendamill when my little one is born. They don't do a ready made one for the hospital. Does anyone know which ready made brand is closer to Kendamill so I can use that until I get home? X

@Lorakn27 you should make your own thread so you get replies your question but formula regulation is very tight so there is very little difference between formula. Some Muslims who are planning to formula feed choose give colostrum first before switching to formula.

I switched my LO from c&g to kendamil due to constipation and wind. I had a completely different baby within a week! I use the organic version and it's been brilliant xx

Sainsbury's formula is apparently the same as kendamil
