Weaning off formula

Hi,

My baby's 11months old, and health visitor recommended we are down to only 1 bottle after she turns 1 year old. (She is formula fed). We are currently on at least 3 bottles a day still. She eats 3 meals a day, baby led.

No advice was given about how^ ^ to actually do this. Any tips?

Give her a cup of milk with her breakfast, lunch & just before bed.

They can still have milk but it's advised to swap to a cup around the age of 1. Maybe swap a daytime one to a lidded cup along with a snack and see how they get on. There isn't a big rush really

Swap to cups rather than bottles after 12 months and she will probably reduce the amount she is taking.

She still can't really use a cup, despite practising with every meal Confused

Thats why I'd just swap one at a time and start with a daytime one. They need less milk after one year too - around 300/350 mls
