8 week old wire noises at night

Hey all, for the past two weeks my ds has been making strange noises at 4 am like clockwork. He sleeps well and soundly through the night with two night feeds without fuss. But at 4am we start to hear congested sounding snorting from him and little writing noises this builds until he eventually wakes himself and then has to sleep on us for the rest of the night.
He is being treated for reflux and on medication but we find it strange why this happens only around this time in the morning.
His cot is on a tilt, we use a humidifier, we hold him for 30 mins before we put him down after the feed, we are at a loss.
Any advice?

My baby is 5 weeks and makes these noises when she is about to wake up.
Tbh they worry me as well as she sounds like she struggles to breathe.
We are currently doing some investigations with doctors so will let you know!
