11 month old refusing bottles

My DD is down to one 5 Oz bottle a day which is in the morning. She refuses an afternoon and nighttime bottle. I do put some formula in her breakfast but that's all she's getting. She does eat 3 meals a day that includes fruit, veg, yogurt and other nutrients plus healthy snacks. I also give her vitamins and tried her with cow's milk but she hates it. She's definitely a good weight and nice and chubby. I'm not sure what to do.

Have you tried formula or cows milk in a sippy cup instead?

Agree with a cup.
Are you warming the cows milk up? My LO wouldn’t have it straight out the fridge.

I wouldn't worry about it. If she's having a good varied diet she won't really miss the formula. You can try offering it in a cup/beaker/. You can try mixing some into her food. You can try making a smoothie with a formula base. Use the same tricks for cow's milk (plus yoghurt, custard, cheese etc).

Yep, the milk is in her usual cup and tried cold, room temp and warm. She seems to hate the taste.

My Dd never had much milk, she had some in cereal, I made sure she had Greek Yoghurt most days and she had cheese. She's 6 now and has a bit of milk on her cereal, likes cheese, doesn't drink milk and prefers no butter in sarnies etc. She takes a multi vit. I don't think you need to worry.

There is not much you can. DD1 was taken off formula at 11 months by her paediatric dietitian, not that she drank much of it anyway. She said as long as she had a balanced diet, took vitamins and had 359mg of calcium a day then it was fine.

Thank you. She does eat Greek yogurt and cheese everyday. Plus butter on toast sometimes.

I have 4 DDs

2 gave up milk around 11/12 months - one was completely bottle fed the other completely breast fed.

The other 2 loved their milk and for one ditching the bottles was a very sad day indeed but still guzzled for a lidded cup for years.
