Baby hates cow’s milk but I want to drop formula

My baby is 13 months old and I’ve tried to wean him onto cow’s milk with no success. Even mixing the two doesn’t work - he just doesn’t like it and will only drink pure formula. How can I get him to move onto cow’s milk and when can I ditch the formula?

He doesn’t need cow’s milk just 350mg of calcium a day. This can be from cheese, yoghurts, fortified cereal and bread, Horlicks or maybe try an alternative milk like Oatley barista.

Thanks - he hates yoghurts too! Sad Sounds like I need to start reading those food labels as I don’t have a clue what 350mg of calcium looks like.

My son was exactly the same. He's now 7 and still refuses to drink milk!! At the time I was advised by the hv to just ensure he had plenty of dairy in his food. As pp mentioned, cheese, yoghurts etc. I also put milk in things like mash . Try not to worry too much I remember being really concerned but it has never really been an issue x
