Hi!

My 3 year old suffers with hay fever which results with a cough, she's been prescribed Cetirizine.

I'm just wondering wether I can mix it with milk/juice as it's really difficult trying to get her to take it from the spoon without spitting it out.
Obviously the entire contents would need to be drank.

Thanks

Copied and pasted from NHS website - You can take cetirizine with or without food. Always take cetirizine tablets or capsules with a drink of water, milk or juice

So I would take that as a yes, especially more so if it means she has it Smile

@LittleMissNaice tried that but again she will take it but spit it straight out. I've even tried to make a game out of it like quickly swallow it quick quick quick but didn't work 🤦‍♀️

When my daughter had to take liquid medicine as a baby and toddler the paediatric nurses told me to syringe it in then blow on her face till she swallowed it - it stops then spitting. I've found it also works (but is unpleasant) for getting my cat to swallow tablets.
