MASH / rape advice

My daughter was coerced into unprotected sex by her then boyfriend when they were both underage so traumatised she hid and covered it up for 2 years. Finally found courage to talk about it, and supported by CAMHS with therapist there, but 100% doesnt want to go to the police. She's tried to take her life a number of times and self-harming already. She confided in a friend and now MASH and police are launching a full investigation. I 'get' they dont want this boy to do it again but it's impossible to prove and all that will happen is he'll deny it. My daughter is totally freaked out that she trusted someone and then they shared her private conversation. Now an intrusive inquiry just when she was starting to heal. Any advice please. She's been through enough already. At the end of the day these are government agencies just doing their job -- they don't especially care about my daughter or the impact on her. She doesnt want to talk to them or give a statement. I'm worried she'll try to take her life again if it gets too much. Any advice please.

Your daughter doesn’t have to talk to the police or give them a statement.

CAMHS should have told her that that she can’t guarantee that information wouldn’t need to be shared. This is standard procedure in any counselling relationship.
