Nappy blowout, size up?

Slightly ick but three times in the past week I've had to strip my daughter down completly as she's had poonamis that went all the way to get ankles! She waits until she in the car seat so when I take her out it's everywhere.

She's 6.8kg (15lbs or so)and just big enough for pampers size 3 but they don't seem to be able to contain the amount of poo she's producing which is escaping out the sides and down her leg. I'm a FTM so not sure if I need to size up again change brands or is there some trick to stop this? Any ideas?

Try Aldi nappies, I have found Pampers great up until size 2 then Aldi from there, cheaper too which is an added bonus

Are they a little too baggy around her thighs? I'd be considering sizing down or changing brands x

We’re having exactly the same with my daughter. I sized up from Pampers size 2 (blowing out up her back) to a size 3 (now escaping from the leg) 🤦🏻‍♀️

Tbh poopsplosions are hard for all nappies to contain. You can try other brands as the sizings can be slightly different.

Yeah try Aldi nappies, they're better

I'd go up a vest size before nappies if they're a bit loose around the leg. Assuming you use the ones with poppers. They're notorious.

Thanks everyone! I tried a different nappy with stronger leg cuffs apparently, but there was another blowout today which involved stripping her bare in the back seat of the car in the IKEA car park! We don't have Aldi here but I'll keep trying different brands as hopefully one will work. I'm not sure my nerves can take a poonami everything we leave the house!

Definitely try a size up in vests. That used to cause massive issues in both mine when their vests were getting a bit too snug.
