Children clothing size 3T

Hi, I am buying some clothes as a present for my sister's child. She says that the child is size 3T. However, most shops seem to give an age range. Is 3T equivalent to sizes which are "age 2-3 years" or is it equivalent to sizes which are "age 3-4 years"?

I’d say 3-4. I only saw 3T in the US. 3 tall?

Depends on the brand really but I'd say it's mostly nearer 2-3.

Thanks all.

I’m in the US. It’s mostly equivalent to size 2-3. Stands for 3 toddler I think.

If in doubt go a size up is my personal opinion

It’s 2-3
