Hi ladies does anyone have any tricks up their mummy sleeves to help keep their toddler asleep. My 19month old has NEVER slept though the night straight through. He goes down to bed easy and sleeps for 12 hours and naps everyday like clockwork the problem is staying asleep. He used to wake about 3 times but now he will wake up 6 or 7 times a night and the only way I can get him back to sleep is to cuddle him back to sleep before this I was breastfeeding him as a soother only) back to sleep. I’ve just recently found out I’m pregnant now again and I just want an uninterrupted nights sleep 🙈 I’m not interested in sleep training it’s just not for us we have tried it before and it doesn’t work for us ... any tricks that work for you ? I was even thinking of getting a boyfriend pillow as he seems to be loved been cuddled while he sleeps. He doesn’t take a soother never has. He doesn’t have a lovey blanket which I may need to introduce. I don’t use any white noise which maybe I should? Thanks all xx

If you find the answer please let me know! The only thing we found to help was co sleeping x

I’m following too for the answer!

3 year old who’s been waking every night for the last 2 months and won’t go back to bed unless one of us “snuggles” her. But now with a newborn in the mix it’s exhausting.

My toddler has a normal double bed in her room and one of us just sleeps in there with her. We used to take it in turns but now we have another baby so I sleep in our room with the baby and husband sleeps in the toddlers bed with her.

Not for everyone but, really, we’re a very well rested family for having a 2 year old and a 3 month old!

2 year old mostly ‘sleeps through’ in that you may get slightly disturbed by having to give a slightly groggy cuddle but we don’t have the musical beds situation most of my friends do … or worse, sitting on the cold floor of a toddlers room at 1am, 3am and 5am settling them to sleep.

3 month old is (luckily) a good sleeper right now, but when she does wake up I can feed her lying down if I’m tired as we are alone in the bed and can therefore follow safe sleep guidelines.

@ForkedIt we actually just got rid of our spare double bed for the baby’s room! I wish I’d of kept it now for daughter 🙈 but at the time she was sleeping through and I thought we was winning at life! Fast forward three months and no nobody in this house sleeps a full night 😂

@ForkedIt

We actually just moved to that kind of arrangement last week. So far it's working really well for us!
