Is baby’s cold disturbing his sleep cycles?

My 5 month old DS has a cold, he started getting a bit sneezy/coughy on Tuesday but it was yesterday and today where I could tell he was definitely poorly. Also yesterday and today, he has been waking up from every daytime nap after 45 mins instead of linking his sleep cycles like he was doing before. Could this be because he’s feeling unwell? Seems like a bit of a coincidence. He’s so drowsy all day but he can’t seem to stay asleep for a proper refreshing nap. The poor little thing is absolutely shattered this evening after having only catnaps all day. He slept absolutely fine last night even with a stuffy nose, it’s just his naps that seem to have been affected. I’m hoping it is just because of the cold and he hasn’t just suddenly lost the ability to link sleep cycles, as he was doing so well with it up until now.

It's certainly likely, I often find that colds can change sleeping/eating for a while. Hopefully he will be better soon.
