What show would you take a 5 year old to? Lion King? Cinderella? Hairspray? Or something else? We fancy an overnight and trip to see a show when we’re able to.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

When my nephews were little, we took all 4 to see Lion King. The oldest 2 were 5, the younger 2 were 3. All 4 of them absolutely loved it and were glued to the whole show (they weren’t well known for sitting still and being quiet at the time as you can imagine with 4 little boys!). If you haven’t seen it before, it’s an amazing show!

Reminds me of when DH and I went to see a Vivaldi concert pre-parenthood. We were a bit alarmed when a family of four with children aged roughly eight and five sat in front of us, thinking they would surely be bored and play up, but the 5yo boy got out a pillow and fell asleep on mum's arm while the 8yo girl sat and listened for the whole thing Shock

I should have asked the parents for tips Grin

But to answer the question, I've seen the lion king play a couple of times and love it. There's always a lot of kids in the audience and it seems to go down well with them too
