Baby Ezcema....Help!

OK so I've spoken to the doctors about a million times and I'm not getting anywhere.

My 7 month old has terrible eczema that he scratches until it bleeds, mostly on his face. I've tried all the usual suspects (oilatum, Aveeno, hydromol, several prescribed emollients) and the only thing that clears It is steroid creams. Then it comes back!!!

What can I do next? He's on Cow and Gate hungry baby formula. Is it worth changing that?

He has an egg allergy so I'm now concerned about dairy too...but he has no other symptoms!

Any advice gratefully received!

My sister uses Bria on herself (very bad eczema) and her daughter (patches) - www.briaorganics.com/skin-prone-to-eczema-c1

It was created by a mum who's child had bad eczema that nothing worked on. Might be worth a try?

Hi, I started a thread about this a while ago and had lots of good advice. Worth a read.

For the itching I was prescribed an antihistamine medication. Steroid cream which takes away the worst of it, and I keep on top of it daily with Aveeno. It's trial and error trying lots of creams until you find one that works for you.

I also don't use any fabric softener etc on baby's skin, and no soap in bath.
