What's up with these gums (pic included)?

DD is five months, nearly four months adjusted (seven weeks prem). Recently she's been showing all the signs of teething - flushed cheeks, dribbling, wanting to chew anything she can get in her mouth and fussy with her bottle (haven't started weaning yet).

I haven't really had much chance to look at her gums as she doesn't like me touching her mouth atm, but today she was so sore that she had a good crying session (she rarely cries normally, much more of a moaner/grizzler) and I was able to snap some pics...

Does it look odd to you? I was expecting to see maybe the incisors under the skin, but instead there's a lot of white bumpy bits and if anything the molars look closer to the surface?? I'm fairly sure it is the teeth under the gum, in person it very much looks like that, but isn't it all happening out of order? The gums on the upper jaw are similar but the teeth appear to be a bit deeper in.

To be truthful it's always looked like her bottom teeth were close to the surface, but I've never really gotten a proper look until now. I'd say it isn't new, just more extreme?

She's my first so it's all new to me.

Doesn’t look odd to me, my LO cut loads of teeth close together. I think they went from 0 teeth to 10 teeth in 3 months. In some ways it’s better so you get less unsettled nights. Might be the same for you

That seems like loads of teeth coming through at the same time.
Try some anbesol for pain, was the only thing that calmed down our little one

Thanks both

@Mrsdarwin yes I can see that there are upsides to them all coming together but I feel so bad for her right now. So far teething doesn't seem to have affected her night time sleep too much - her naps have been short and it has taken longer for her to go down at night but once asleep in the dark she's pretty bombproof. Let's hope it continues!

I guess I was just alarmed by how her gums looked. The teeth look like they're a bit all over the place, don't they? But maybe that's normal, I wouldn't know.

Thanks again for responses
