Hi all?

I’ve been considering moving DD who is 6 months old into her own room. However my l my concern is her new cot is big with lots of room to roll about in and she can’t yet roll front to back. She can roll back to front fine and she has been able to do so for a few months. But she hasn’t mastered rolling the other way yet and gets stuck if she rolls onto her front. So yeah I don’t know if I’m being daft but I’m worrying about her rolling in the night, getting stuck and not being able to move back and I suppose having trouble breathing or something. We would be using a monitor though and keeping the bedroom doors open too.

Am I being daft??

You could just give it a bit longer before you move her into her own room? It sounds like you have reservations and if you wait until she can roll herself back you won't be worrying about her quite as much? We put our son in his own room when he was 7 months (it was still nerve wracking though!)
