With such a tiny new born I would get medical advice. If you are still under the midwife then ring the hospital but you of have been discharged then ring 111 to get an out of hours GP appointment. In the mean time you can try bicycling her legs and a wam bath.

Tummy massage is not recommended in under 6 week old babies.

I would get advice to make sure. Health visitor or GP.

We started just formula feeding from a week old as I just didn't produce any milk (so much screaming because he was constantly hungry). His poos became less frequent. About once every 2-3 days as formula takes longer for them to digest. Eventually he became much more regular (once a day). I was told as long as he wasn't constipated/in pain not to worry. I think it took a couple of weeks to settle.

Speak to HV or GP with being so young but it’ll be because their tummy is getting used to the new milk.

Thanks so much
The health Vistior didn’t seem worried but as a new parent I was so worried incase she was in pain . 😣 think I’m over worrying , is she hasn’t gone by tomorrow 4th day I may call them .
She’s weeing . Burping and passing wind fine , so maybe it is just getting used to it . She’s only been on formula since the 22nd April x x
