Does this sound about right? It's not completely set..if she wakes earlier/later I'll shift a bit.

6-7am wake up
7am 8oz bottle
8.30am breakfast
9am nap 1 (between 45 mins and 1.5 hours)
12pm 8oz bottle
1pm nap 2 (between 1-1.5 hours)
3.30pm dinner
6pm bath
6.30pm 8oz bottle
6.45pm bed

seems great to me :) my almost 6 month old wakes up quite a bit later than that with a later bedtime but this is ours.
8.30 10oz milk
9.30 breakfast
11ish half hour nap
12 10oz milk
1 lunch
2/3 1-1.5 hour nap
4 10oz milk
5/6 dinner.
8 10oz milk
9 bedtime.
he has baths after dinner once or twice a week due to his dry skin we don't want to do it more often.

@1990shopefulftm very similar then! Except you have 4 bottles and we have 3. I was wondering if I've cut out too many. I would love more of a lie in but her and her sister wake up that time no matter what time they go to bed.

Oh and you're doing lunch...mine is only just 6 months so was going to wait a couple more weeks before starting lunch.

@Lostmyway86 we re doing baby led weaning so he's just having bits of food whenever we have our meals are, he tries bits of all of it but some more gets swallowed than others.
He's not cut out any of his milk yet but I m sure they say as long as they aren't suddenly dropping to 20oz or less not to worry

Lostmyway86 · 29/04/2021 16:06

Arr ok that makes sense. I'm doing the traditional approach. She was on 5 bottles 7oz each before weaning and now is on 3 bottles 8oz with the two meals which are quite significant (porridge with fruit puree for breakfast) (veg, potatoe puree followed by yoghurt etc for dinner). I might up the milks to 9oz as she is draining them. What sort of meals do you give?

@Lostmyway86 Mostly adapted verisions of what we're eating, for example breakfast could be weetabix or toast, lunches he's had omlette, eggy bread, tuna pasta with melty sticks or banana and dinner he's had things like stir fry, spag bol, sausage casserole and then he'll have a fromage frais yoghurt.

My baby is 5.5 months and not as good at napping as yours so we usually have 3 naps a day.
We usually do (approximately):
7.30ish wake up and feed
I’ll make breakfast for me and stick some bits of fruit on her high chair for her to munch on so she kind of has breakfast. We plan to BLW properly at 6months.
9.15-10ish nap
10.15ish Feed (she’s breastfed)
12.30-1ish nap
1.15ish Feed
4-4.45ish nap(if I’m lucky, this is the nap that goes wrong more often than not!)
4.45 Feed
6pm Bath, she enjoys the bath so this is usually quite long!
7.30ish Feed to sleep
Wake up approximately 72thousand times through the night!!!

That’s my ideal kind of day but often doesn’t go that way! So far today, she’s only napped twice for 15 minutes(!!) each time. She’s now fallen asleep which is later than I like for her last nap but she’ll never make it until bedtime without. We’re often out and about so I’m not too strict on when naps are. I could probably make the routine much tighter if we weren’t out so much but I like us to keep busy

@Sls668 I struggled with the third nap too which was why I was keen to drop it. She could probably still do with it to be honest but I've opted for two and the earlier bedtime for now. Sorry you have a night waker, mine has a cold and was up 3 times last night and I forgot how exhausting it is Sad
