So I have just bought new bonjrla soothing gel in Lidl but when googling it says you can overdose if used too much on gums!!
I’m wondering if the new in top left of packaging means they have changed the ingredients?
Any help much appreciated - happy to bin if it’s unsafe.

Tbh I wouldn't bother with the teething gels (they have no actual painkilling medication in them) and use something with lidocaine in it. Things like bonjela used to,but they changed the rules a few years back, and now you can only get them from a pharmacy.

I used the bonjela soothing gel when I had a mouth ulcer. It is just weird tasting gel and does not relieve anything.

I asked a doctor friend and she thought the only thing it could do is cause the runs, so maybe that's why they reccomended not overdosing.
