Any tips to help her neck get better? We are keeping the skin clean and dry and trying to keep her cool. I put sudacreme on it this morning to see if it helps with the redness but no improvement yet.

We had the same.. a barrier cream like aquaphor after drying helped. Also tummy time if you can so baby holds their head up and the area gets more air

It's likely where milk is pooling after feeds. We used to call it the stinky cheese line. Bib ir muslin at feeds, then a soft cotton pad warm water wash followed by some moisturiser.

Sudocrem isnt the right thing - it's a barrier rather than a product which will put moisture back into the skin.

If she is over 1month then use e45.

Give it a good wash and put some sudocrem on before bed every night, use a dribble bib in the day (and change when it gets damp). If it gets really bad then it might be a fungal infection, in which case the doctor can give you a cream.

Sudocrem after a very careful wash and pat dry.

Thanks all, in pretty certain it's heat rash rather than cheesy neck as emerged after a couple of days of heat and looks like prickly heat rash.

Aveeno have a really good range!

Can you use a hair dryer on cool setting and gentle air flow to be absolutely sure the area is completely dry after washing/bathing him?
