Baby doctor in London or nearby/colic and reflux

Can anyone recommend a paediatrician in the London area (we are SE London so can go to other parts of the city or just outside), especially one good with small babies and colic/reflux etc?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hello first post here- If you are looking for a private recommendation Dr Douek at the Portland was v helpful.

Thanks Anyone, did you see him for reflux?

I haven't used him myself but heard good things about Dr Neil Shah at the Portland.

I didn't go private but managed to find out a lot by reading "Colic Solved" by Dr Bryan Vartabedian (a paediatric gastroenterologist). I worked out myself that my babies' reflux was caused by CMPA, took a long time to realise with DC1 but I knew what to look for with DC2! So do consider whether that might be a factor.

Also if you're on Facebook there are groups for reflux support, so you'll could join and ask on there.

I did- he was recommended to me as a baby reflux expert. Good luck, it was a horrid time for DS and us trying to help him.

Thank you both, yes it is really upsetting. Our little one has only recently started to suffer as she is still very young, only 3 and a half weeks, but it’s so sad to see her struggling.

DS was a similar age. It does get better- fingers crossed it gets solved quickly.
