Any advice to give my daughter who says a man in his 40s followed her and her friends around a park and tried to start a conversation . They left the park and he didn't follow .
Anybody got some good advice for teens now they are meeting up and getting some independence?

Have you spoken to the police?
Aside from reporting the incident, they may also be able to give advice on safety awareness x

No , she got a grainy photo of him but didn't tell me until this evening . I will call the police tomorrow.

Make sure she knows she doesn't have to be polite and she doesn't have to be helpful and she doesn't have to be kind.

She doesn't have to put other people before her own safety and adults don't ask children for help. They ask other adults.

She was right to ignore him and keep walking, but maybe she should have called the police at the time ?
