Cot bed duvet

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help. 2yr old DD had a 4 tog duvet. She loves it (and just takes a sleeping bag off) but often gets too hot. DH and I only sleep with a 1 tog, but I can't find anything under 4tog in cot bed size. Had anyone else had this (and found a thinner duvet anywhere)?

Just a duvet cover might be about right.

Could you try a 1 tog single duvet?

ChaosMoon · 23/04/2021 20:34

I think that's going to go too far in the other direction, but I think I'm going to have to try it if I can't find anything else.

Thank you

Or maybe just use a lightweight blanket if a duvet is too heavy

ChaosMoon · 23/04/2021 20:37

@dementedpixie the cot bed duvet we have is massive in the cot. I think she'd drown if I tried to squeeze a single in there!

That said, maybe I just get one of those and but it down... That's a thought.

Yes, a blanket is also worth a try. Thank you.

We got one from Dunelm, it's lovely, little one loves it! I can't find it on the website but we got it in the shop, think it was about £10

Use a single duvet , turned through 90 degrees and tuck the sides in.

You get patterned cot quilts that might be lighter than a duvet and also smaller to fit in the cot.

Just ordered this one. I don't know how I missed it earlier. 🤦

Thank you all so much for your help!
