2 mnth old baby questions

Hi all
I have a 2 month baby boy and wondering, since born hes been wearing a hat in car seat if we have to go out and wearing it in carrier and pram just read online that they dont need this because they can overheat!! This is my first baby anya advice please! Also we have a pram where the car seat fixes into the pram its a car seat pram all in one, i heard they can only be in this for 2 hrs does that mean per journey or for whole day? We need to pop out in morning on weekend and late afternoon sorry if these are thick questions but I dont have anyone close to me to ask im a new mum and want to make sure I am doing right x

I have 4 kids and each of mine wear the little hats until about 3 months but never in the house just when I was out and about. It means no longer than 2 hours a time so before the 2 hours take them out give them a cuddle or feed let them have a stretch then put them back in x

I don’t put my 2 month old in a hat now it’s warmed up a bit but he has a very good head of hair so no concern that he’s cold! I’d probably try leaving it off and if he’s too cold he’ll soon let you know. I think it’s 2 hours at a time in a car seat but I have a fixed car seat so have never given it much thought.
