Best shoes for toddler with a high instep

As the title suggests DS2 (nearly 3) has a ridiculously high instep even wide fit aren't always great (looking at you Clarks).

Does anyone have any recommendations of brands or a particular style from a brand that works? Clarks I'm never impressed with, Startrite are ok but they don't have much in at the moment for summer.

Thanks

DN had very high insteps and only trainers ever fit properly. He wore New Balance, Nikes, and when he got a bit older he was able to use crocs and they never looked back lol.

Clark’s Ankle Boots (modelled on timberlands) might work, as they have lace on them that’s adjustable (and a side zip fastening). You don’t need wide fit if the shoe is high enough at the top
