My 12 month old son is hell bent on me rocking him to sleep every single night. I completely understand that it’s my fault, but I’m hoping that I can get some advice in how to sleep train him to fall asleep on his own.
He still shares a room with us as we are waiting to move, he usually sleeps the entire night with no issues, lately he’s been a bit off. He’s so reliant on me rocking him to sleep and playing rain in his ear every single night, even during the day when I try to get him for a nap, and then when he’s finally asleep and I try to put him in his cot he’ll wake up and start to cry.
It’s not even like I can comfort him in his cot as when he wakes up he’ll sit straight up or stand up in his cot rather than continue to lie down and will scream and cry until we go over to him.
Once again I completely understand that this is probably my fault, I’m just hoping someone can please help me!!! Thank you
