UK summer camps for teens

Just wanted some recommendations on UK summer camps for teens please. I will travel anywhere and pay anything!!

DD is 14 and has anxiety, depression and is now self-harming. I believe this stems from past bullying she endured at school and now the pressures of secondary school peers and social media.

In the past month, she has become unbearable and is displaying a very reckless attitude and behaviour. It doesn't matter how much I talk to her or turn myself inside out to try and connect with her, I'm still the devil incarnate.

Believe me when I say that I have done absolutely everything to try and help her; from multivitamins, to all kinds of extra activities, to not speaking-just listening etc. She is under CAMHS but she does not engage.

I'm looking for a camp which doesn't allow any electronic devices as it will be like taking sand to the beach.

Please help!

I don't think there will be much running. Rangers meetings are restarting with girl guides if she can join a local group. Would she want to go to a camp? Sorry for what she has been going through (and how hard its been for you).

@GoWalkabout - thank you for replying. Didn't think of Girl Guides. Will search for my local group.
She would leave this house in a heartbeat so, yes she probably would want to go to a camp! Anywhere but here is her attitude. Sad

Ah, that sounds difficult for you. It's so difficult finding summer stuff for them this year.

Camp cooper in Crieff Scotland is lovely American style summer camp in a swish private school. I had holiday guests whose kids stayed here for a month and then had a holiday with their parents. They said it was awesome. Not cheap though.

I run a summer camp for kids.

We still don't know if it will be running this summer, we are taking bookings as we go online if not live.
We are waiting to hear from the centre where we hold the camp. Conferences are allowed to restart on May 17th, so we are hopeful.

I think a lot may have decided to cancel this summer.

I would lok for a specific activity camp - horse riding, sailing, walking, those things are more likely to be running.
or a detox camp - no electronic devices!

Again it’s all covid dependant - but my DD went on some super weeks away with ATE. They hold camps throughout the Uk at boarding schools. Lifechanging!
