Which non contact sport for ds?

Been told my DS should avoid all non contact sports when older due to medical condition. I'm aware of lots of lovely non contact single sports like swimming, golf etc but are there any team sports I could get him to try that are non contact? He could be at risk of retinal detachment from contact so don't want to 'give them a go' IYSWIM!

What about singles tennis/ badminton?

Tennis, golf, cricket, running, rowing.. there’s plenty out there that still involve being in a team. Rowing is a good one IMO.

If he can play racquet sports at a club they will practise with lots of them so get the social aspect without it being actually a team sport (although actually there is doubles). Ultimate frisbee? (Bit niche, but I do see lots playing it in the park round here and it was a thing when I was at uni). Cricket is non-contact but I suppose you could get hit by the ball
