My v. annoying 10 year old keeps snooping all over the house trying to find where I've hidden the Xmas presents. It's driving me bonkers. What on earth do other people do.

I can't put them up high because I'm only little and he's almost as tall as me LOL.

What do you lot do?

I hide mine at work lol

Is it the end of the world if he finds them? I used to snoop for Christmas presents at that age, it took me a couple of years, but eventually I figured out it wasn't worth it, it took some of the fun out of the day.

we were told that if we found anything we didn't get it.

Put us right off snooping.

Tape all the bags in such a way that it would be obv if he peeked.

ConnorTraceptive · 12/11/2007 13:35

I would tape everything up in black bin liners, show him where they are and say "those are you xmas presents if you open the bags I'll know and you won't be getting them on xmas day"

or you could actually just wrap them properly in xmas paper - he'd have to be a cheeky sod to unwrap them then

Oh we did this as children. You just have to outwit them.
