For all the Mums out there looking for good pins for 'wriggly' little people, I have 119 of these made up in bundles of 5 to 15 or to suit.
Just email me your address and I will post on.

Aren’t nappy pins dangerous? I use Terry cloth nappies but would never use real pins, a nappy nippa is safer and works better!

Going a long time back now, but safety nappy pins have a “locking“ function on them, (a bit that slides down over the keeper once they are closed) and you put your hand inside the front of the nappy as you insert the pin, so if someone gets pricked it’s your own hand.

I remember learning this at five.

Is there now some horrible panic around nappy pins as intrinsically dangerous objects that must be avoided at all costs?

OP sounds generous to offer TBH.

I don’t think there’s any horrible panic, I’ve just never seen them used. There’s no way a baby could be injured by a nappy nippa, and they’re so easy to use, so I would just feel more comfortable with them than with pins myself. Others might be happy to use pins though!

We have both Nappy Nippas and pins in the Nappy Library kits. I've ripped my hand several times in the Nippas, but never even a prick from a pin!

Sorry OP! Lovely offer Smile I would imagine there are Nappy Libraries out there that could make good use of them if you have no uptake here. If you're on Facebook look up www.facebook.com/groups/503308853156966/?ref=share

Ouch, poor you! Maybe I’ve just been lucky so far! Mine just have a little ridge of plastic grips, so they’re not too fierce.

I've never seen a cloth nappy which uses pins. Nappy nippa or more commonly aplix/velcro or poppers.
