hi flame, ive just got some prefold nappies and havent a clue how to use them. this is my 1st time using reuseables and im totally at a loss. i have 12prefolds, 3wraps and some liners.
i dont know what else i need and dont know how to fold,fix together, wash etc. im a very disoraganised person as you can probably tell.
please can you help me.

tbh, I'm not great with prefolds. I know there is some way to hold them together with a nippa, but I'm not too sure how.

Fold the prefold in 3, and it just holds in place with the wrap. (Liner sits between nappy and baby).

Either flush the liner, or wash depending on if you have reusables or disposables.

Washing is easy - put the dirty nappies in an empty bucket, don't need to bother with soaking them or anything, just sprinkle in a couple of drops of tea tree oil if you want a fresher smell. Put them in a machine on a rinse cycle first, and then a wash with about 1/4 the normal amount of powder (or with soapnuts), no softener, and a splash of white vinegar to soften them.

Then dry as normal - wraps are best not tumble dried, but prefolds are fine to tumble if you want to
