He's learning how to walk, wobbled on the way and fell sideways with his right side hitting on the wooden edge of bed. cried for few minutes but then he was ok.
Does this look like a bruise. I hope it doesn't become like a scar. You can see dark streak on pic

Just looks like a bruise. No broken skin so no scar. Bless him, it sucks when they're learning how to walk. I wanted to put bumpers everywhere and pad their heads out.

It's horrible for you but he will be fine. They do bump heads a lot, and it's far worse for us than for them. But I really wanted to say - those cheeks! He is so cute.

DS bumped his face constantly from about that age until quite recently (he’s 2.5)! There’ll be plenty more bruises to come, Don’t worry, they’re quite robust !

Really don't worry, these things happen all the time. Its just a bruise and it won't scar. I think the bumps upset the parents more than the kids sometimes!

DS1 (8yo) still has a small scar by his eyebrow from when he pitched into a coffee table at about the same age.

We got rid of the coffee table and he’s certain his letter from Hogwarts is imminent.
