Gift for new mum

Hi all

One of my close friends has just given birth to her second child after several miscarriages

When I had my DS she gave me a voucher to spend on myself plus a fab pack of stuff for him, including vests, sleepsuits, everything in the Milton range, bath and room thermometer, dummies, wipes etc

It was all so helpful and now I am at a loss what to give her as a gift

She kept most things from first child so I am looking to get something she won't already have

Any suggestions appreciated

Has she had the baby yet?

You could get her the "expert midwife" set

Or I've been using these lovely products from a brand called Nessa, you can get gift sets on there as well. They do organic products, nipple balm and scar/stretchmark treatment

They're really nice products

A baby handprint and footprint kit - perhaps one which does two sets of imprints so she could do one for each child

I love the nessa range! Their nipple balm saved me.

PJ's/lounge wear/slippers for her or takeaway vouchers/m&s dine in deal.

Best things we got for our second were nice toys as everything else was second hand. Vouchers have come in really handy as she's got older as we didn't have the right season clothes.
