Snuzpod 4 questions

Hi all

I have just bought the Snuzpod 4 for my baby due in July and wondered firstly if anyone else had this and what they thought of it?

Secondly, can you recommend any crib sheets that will fit the mattress apart from Snuzpods own? I know I’ll need more than 2 and would rather shop around first before buying their own brand to keep costs down. I’ve read good things about getting a mattress protector too?

We've used the snuzpod 4 since November and it's been great. The 4 has a 12cm high barrier at the base of the cot so you won't be able to slide the baby over to your bed anymore, they changed the safety regs to stop that happening, so you have to lift them. We don't have it attached to the bed for that reason but it still very handy to be able to zip down the side and reach across to my daughter to comfort her at night. We used the reflux tilt until she was 3 months too as it seemed to help her sleep.

I bought 2 sets of snuzpod cot sheets and 2 snuz mattresses protectors for less than £30 when they were on sale and that's all we have needed, plus we use them on her pram bassinet for overnight sleeps away from home so they've been really handy. I would definitely get the mattress protector, it saves the mattress from any accidental wee or throw up.

I remember spending so much time looking into this when I was pregnant. Really liked the snuzpod! Baby is still in it and due to go in her cotbed now!

I had a csection and long recovery so didn't use it to Co sleep like I thought I would.

I found the snuzpod sheets expensive! I got fitted sheets from John Lewis, and mattress protector (about 3) from Amazon

I found the sheets expensive too especially as I know I’ll need to stock up on a few. I’ve seen people mention the Snuzpod 3 and that the likes of mothercare and Asda fitted cot sheets fit perfectly on the mattress but didn’t know if they had changed the size for the 4?
Guess I’ll have to wait and see when it arrives and do some investigating!
