Constipation

Hi . Just wondering if anyone on here has had any issues with their babies being born with meconium plugs who have them went on to have bad constipation? My baby girl now 8 weeks old was took into NICU for meconium plugs when she was born but after feeding tube, tummy X-rays, passing the plugs etc she was dismissed. However my baby still struggles to have bowel movement she could go days without a poop and was prescribed lactalose but this just gives her diareah ... tried changing her formula etc but not helping . Anyone faced similar ? X

I haven’t had this experience but didn’t want to leave your thread unanswered! What formula have you tried?

Have you tried bicycle legs / tummy massages?

Not had a similar experience but have had a none pooper, when we start weaning it got better.

Hi thanks for reply, had her on cow & gate now have her on Aptamil. Tried aptamil comfort milk for constipation too didn’t help so now on first stage.

@mummypig95 some babies can’t handle the palm oil in formula as it can cause constipation. The only formula I know that doesn’t contain it is Kendamil Organic. I tried my DD on this and it helped with her constipation but made her reflux worse.
