Best Double Buggy?

Hi, could I have some recommendations for a double pushchair please? For a 6 month old & 20 month old? I have the icandy peach as a tandem double but I don't really like the configuration of it and it's so heavy! Currently looking at the out & about nipper if anyone has any experience with that? Or anything else to recommend? Thanks!

I have the out n about nipper double for my 6 month old and 3 year old! It’s brilliant, only downsides are that you can’t parent face and it’s quite big when folded

I tested out both the Out n About Nipper and the Babyjogger City Mini double (this was a few years ago so designs might have changed now). We went for the Babyjogger in the end due to its extra features, but there wasn't much in it to be honest. Both were light and easy to push. I think the Nipper might be better if you go walking off road a lot. I can't remember if the Nipper had tyres that could puncture? The other difference was the hood, the Nipper has one wide hood whereas the Babyjogger has two hoods. The Babyjogger hoods are fantastic as they pull completely down as well, and also have a viewing window. It also felt slightly more stable on four wheels rather than three, seeing as the weight was going to be uneven with different age children. The Babyjogger easy folding was also really good. But size and handling wise, both were good.
I ended up with a tandem in the end as I really struggled with shops and doorways with a side by side.

Out n about nipper. Loved it. So easy to manoeuvre. Great on all terrains, shops, pavement or beach/forest. Everything.

I loved my out n about and my childminder bought one too after seeing mine. Could push it one handed on almost any surface and it could go anywhere.

I loved my Mountain Buggy Duet. It was better once DS2 was 6m old and could sit in the seat rather than the carrycot - suddenly using it became a lot easier. We had it until lockdown last year meant we went out less (DS1 was 4 and 90th%ile).

I think the newest edition of the out n about nipper has two separate hoods. Still can’t parent face though.

I loved our Nipper. It was brilliant, comfy for the babies, light and you could turn it on a penny.

Yes, my nipper has 2 separate hoods and it has large tyres that are brilliant on all terrain but can puncture (you can have them slimed or buy a set of eva wheels which won’t puncture)

Ive a city mini double its brilliant, it fits through almost all doorways

Thanks everyone! I've just found out there's a baby shop near me that has the out & about, city mini and the mountain buggy in so I'll be going next week to give them a try! Youngest is only actually 4 month at the moment so there's no desperate rush to get it right now but I definitely won't be using the icandy tandem any longer than necessary!

I had MB Duet for mine who had a 22 month gap. We got it 2nd hand and sold it on again after a year. Really easy to manoeuvre. It goes through all single doorways and onto buses really easily.

Really recommend it.
