Sofa cruising 8 months

My little boy is almost 11 months (next week) and he's started crawling properly about a week ago. This week he's doing lots of standing against the sofa and leaning for ages and basically holding his body weight well but his feet don't touch the ground (almost do) so will this harm him? Basically don't want him to end up walking on top toe

No don't worry - from experience (two DS now late teens) this is completely normal.

You have nothing to be concerned about.

I think it pretty normal for babies to tip toe when they first start standing and walking along furniture. My DS did that too at the beginning but had completely corrected lost it by the time he started walking unaided. I think it's more of an issue when they tip toe as confident walkers.
