Footless sleepsuits?

What age do you put a baby in a footless sleepsuit? My daughter is 4 months and just about to fit into 3-6 month sleepsuits but lots in the shops are footless, is that a summer thing?

Whenever you want to use them really, we got fed up with the poppers on sleepsuits and switched to pyjamas when he was 4 months old.

My DD wore normal sleepsuits until she was 6 months and then went into pyjamas because I was sick of the poppers and faff when changing her during the night.
I don't think there's a hard and fast rule - some kids might have hot feet, some might prefer their toes covered?

Whenever you want.

We used them early on with #2 because she was tiny but had huge feet (still does 🙄) so anything that fit her body was too tight on her toes.
