Birthday ideas for 3yo

Hello, I’m very stuck and uninspired for lockdown birthday ideas for my 3yo DS.

It’s his second birthday in lockdown (end of April) and I want him to be able to have a fun day. Any bright ideas, anything we could hire, any activities you can recommend?

I’m sure he’ll be happy with a cake and Playmobil but I can’t help but feel a bit sad for him.

Thank you!

It needn’t be too bad as lots of things will be up and running then in some form or another and/or you could have a few people round in your garden.
Zoos, farm parks, leisure centres and theme parks are re-opening on the 12th April. Or you could keep it simple with trip to an adventure playground that he’s never been to before combined with a Teddy bear’s picnic in the park for him and his cuddly toys (party hats for all are obligatory!).
My DS had his 4th bday when absolutely nothing was open, so we celebrated with DIY pancakes for breakfast, Happy Birthday sung by extended family via zoom, a treasure hunt to find presents around the garden and sparklers/mini fireworks in the garden after dark.

Oh that’s so true about farms. I’d looked at soft play and saw they weren’t open until May. Sparklers and a treasure hunt are a great idea! Thanks you
