Free school meals for nursery

Hi, I’ve been a single parent for 2 years, and my daughter is starting nursery soon, lunches are £50 per month, as I gave up work when I became a single parent this is a lot of money now.

Do free school meals cover nursery too? If so then where would I Apply?

Only school based nurseries offer free school meals at 2. But it can be tricky finding a pre-school that takes under 3s, at least it is in my area

You will have to check with the nursery.
You have to met certain criteria to apply but if you qualify they should be able to give you details.
