Ok, I've obviously had a baptism of fire here and clearly have not done my research but I did genuinely think it was a child's game. Please don't judge my clearly naive parenting. 🤦♀️
9yr DD has just spend £500 today on roblox on her own iPhone. I first became aware the all the transactions when HSBC alerted me to fraudulent activity. There were at least 25 transactions. Thankfully the money is being refunded but it's given me a serious scare! She isn't even authorised or able to buy apps on her phone so I have no idea how she managed it.
I thought I'd set up all the security re grooming and chatting to strangers and she can only play with her friends but turns out I've got a lot to learn.
Can someone give me info and advice about this game. Is there any safety security features I can set up? On the game and on her phone? Or shall I just delete the game all together?
Any advice welcome
