Bottle preparation

Hi,
How does everyone prepare their formula feeding bottles
Looking for individual ways as well as those who strictly go by guidelines.

My HV and midwives were completely fine with me going old school and preparing bottles for a set of feeds and storing in back of fridge ( night feeds I use ready made formula cartons )

My little one has colic and I'm thinking about getting a temp setting kettle and set it to 70° and just making bottles fresh from now on does anyone else do this way?

Thank you Smile

So I kept cooled boiled water in the fridge.

Boil kettle.
Add about 10% cold water to 40% boiling water.
Add formula.
Add about 50% cold water.

It's not an exact science but worked for me.

Loved my formula kettle! Made each one fresh and if you cool in water from the fridge could have a bottle ready in less than 5 mins

I use a perfect prep machine! Bottles ready in 2 mins! Easy peasy!

We make up the first bottle of the day the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight. We’ve never had any problems.

Perfect prep machine, completely worth the money!

We just recreate the prep machine and bash in 1/3 boiling vigorously shake then 2/3 cold.

I made a post about the 70 degree thing it doesn’t have to be at 70 just more than so a normal metre is fine

I'll be judged but perfect prep here. Used official filters, followed full instructions for cleaning etc. Used for about 10 months from 14/16 bottles a day until down to 6 bottles a day when we went onto cows milk. No regrets. Brought 2nd hand and sold onm

we use a prep machine, I clean it very often and we've never had any trouble. he's on 4 10oz bottles a day now so it'd take forever to cool them if we did it the traditional way and he gets very stressed waiting for bottles.
