Baby ache helppp!

My little one is almost 5 weeks and this is the third week of having baby ache. I’ve tried the whole cooled boiled water washes which started to clear it but then it became unbelievably dry so I purchased some e45 yesterday, had anyone else used this for it? Also this morning it’s very aggravated and looks like it’s possibly scabbing, is this a sign it’s clearing or?

It’s making me feel so sad, I love her so much but you just don’t expect your baby to have bad skin you think it’s going to be all soft and gorgeous. I never had this with my first daughter so it’s all new to me

I would try a ‘less is more’ approach - it will most likely improve on its own if left alone. If it gets sore or broken then speak to a pharmacist, but otherwise I would be inclined to leave it alone as much as possible.

My son had this from about 3 weeks old until he was maybe 10 or so week. It just went away on its own in the end. Some people say putting breast milk on the effected areas help.

Had it with both of mine and it just clears up by itself.

I'm guessing you mean acne not ache?!

DD had this SO badly when she was a few weeks old. We used cooled boiled water and zeroderm cream, but I'm not sure if these things really worked. If it's any reassurance, it's very short lived. It was gone within 3 weeks and she's had perfect skin since.

I know how awful it feels but remember it's not hurting her and it will improve very soon x
