Acne

My little brother has blackheads all down his back and across his chest, I think there may be more to it then just acne. I’m after some help on what products (cleansers, oils, moisturises) that can help reduce his acne. I’m going to get my mum to get him a gp appointment but in the mean time I want something to get him going. He has got really low self esteem and pretty sure he is being picked on at school 😢

That looks slightly infected, get a gp appointment they can prescribe antibiotic called lymecycline for acne. My son had cystic acne painful and red lumps on his chin, and lymecycline has helped alot. Hope your brother is ok.

Thank you, we will do first thing on Monday. It does look red but wouldn’t say infected it’s where his been picking at it 🙄 I’m a bit worried about the lumps under the skin but he doesn’t say it hurts

There is also benzoyl peroxide cream you can buy otc, or have it prescribed. Which helps dry up acne and take some redness away. It's called acnecide.
